What is TellTail made of?
TellTail is made mainly from plant fibers and plant starch, with a natural mineral binder and a food-grade pH indicator. No silica gel crystals.
It's a tofu-style litter: the plant fiber and starch are pressed into small pellets that bind into firm clumps when wet. The pH indicator is part of every pellet, so the whole litter can show a color change — there are no separate granules to sprinkle on top.
Because it's plant-based, TellTail is light to carry, pours with low dust, and is Flushable\* in small amounts where plumbing allows.
